These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the VERYTIS website, platform, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using VERYTIS on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
1. Description of the Service
VERYTIS provides a governance and audit platform designed to trace decisions and actions across organizational tools. The Service enables visibility, accountability, and auditability of operational activity within defined scopes.
VERYTIS does not replace collaboration, productivity, or communication tools. It operates as an independent audit and governance layer.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- Each user must authenticate individually. Shared or generic accounts are not permitted.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity occurring under your account.
3. Roles and Access
Access to features and audit capabilities is determined by roles assigned within an organization, including but not limited to:
- Member
- Manager
- Admin
Permissions and audit scopes are defined and managed by organization administrators. VERYTIS is not responsible for role misconfiguration by customers.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to access data outside your authorized scope
- Circumvent security or access controls
- Reverse engineer or interfere with the Service
- Use the Service for employee surveillance or unlawful monitoring
VERYTIS reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
5. Data Processing and Privacy
VERYTIS processes data strictly within authorized scopes defined by the customer and in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
The Service may process:
- Textual conversation data in authorized collaboration channels
- Metadata and activity signals from email systems
VERYTIS does not process private messages, files, documents, or email bodies.

6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Obtaining required consents from users
- Configuring access scopes and permissions appropriately
- Ensuring lawful use of the Service within their organization
VERYTIS is not responsible for customer misuse or misconfiguration of the Service.
7. Data Ownership
Customers retain full ownership of their data. VERYTIS acts solely as a data processor and acquires no ownership rights over customer data.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
- Customer data is retained for the duration of the active subscription.
- Upon account termination, data is scheduled for deletion and permanently removed after a 30-day grace period.
9. Security
VERYTIS implements industry-standard security measures, including encryption at rest and in transit. While VERYTIS takes reasonable steps to protect data, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Availability and Modifications
VERYTIS may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any part thereof at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
11. Intellectual Property
VERYTIS and its trademarks, logos, and software are the exclusive property of VERYTIS.
These Terms do not grant you any rights to VERYTIS intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the Service.
12. Termination
VERYTIS may terminate or suspend access for violation of these Terms.
Upon termination:
- Access to the Service ceases
- Data deletion follows the retention policy described above
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
Read Carefully
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
VERYTIS does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VERYTIS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
VERYTIS's total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by the customer to VERYTIS in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
